Inside our current project

Updated: May 26, 2022

Take a look, behind the scenes of the very first project we are working on in Fort Lauderdale, steps from Wilton Drive. While this property was in very rough shape from the beginning there was also something special both Sarah and I felt about this house. Allow me to walk you through this property, the mood board and inspiration behind this sun splashed retreat we are in the process of creating.

Lets first take a look at some before photos of the house.

Upon first touring this 50's Florida home we knew right away there was a ton of work to do, while the laminate floors may have been covered in paint and debris, we knew we wanted to restore the original terrazzo floors and play off the neutral color palate they provided.

Previously chaotic and seriously damaged we not only physically cleaned out the space but energetically as well, using sage, palo santo and crystals. We want all of our guests to Fare Well during their stay, we believe the heart of every house is in the kitchen so we planted rose quartz crystals in the kitchen walls.

The goal is to create a clean space that is bright with color and minimal in overall design. By using natural colors and textures, we want a space that is both calming and exciting. By mixing old and new, custom and store bought, natural and colourful. I am designing a space that embraces all of the Florida charm this house has to offer with a trendy boho flare.

As project designer, I have a very clear vision of the inside of this space but have yet to tackle the amazing canvas the large outdoor area has to offer! The best is truly yet to come!
