We’re a family-owned real estate company, co-founded by mother-in-law and daughter-in-law duo Sarah “SJ” Strock and Mikaela Barnes. At Fare You Well Properties, LLC, we cover every corner of real estate—from managing our own portfolio of properties (which we buy, renovate, flip, and rent) to helping our clients passively invest alongside us. We also offer full-service renovation design and project management, bringing thoughtful transformation to every space we touch.

Sarah Strock
Founder, Real Estate Agent and Business Director
Sarah “SJ” Strock is a transplanted apple turned orange (New York to Florida) since 1979 and just loves using the hashtag “I live where you vacation”.
Sarah is fierce in her efforts to advocate for the betterment of her community through support of The Pride Center, Broward House, Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale Foundation, Big Mama’s Christmas Drive and is a five year participant (both rider and crew) in The Smart Ride. She also had the honor of being named among The 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County benefiting the Boy & Girls ClubStrock has served on the executive boards of Temple Dor Dorim, Suits Stilettos & Lipstick, American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Fort Lauderdale, The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce GLBX (Gay and Lesbian Business Exchange) as well as the Chamber’s Women’s Council.
Professionally, she journeyed in her family’s national business, Jenasol Vitamins, from warehouse worker to Vice President (and every position in between) over a twenty-five year career. Once they sold the company, Sarah took to writing for publications including Balance Magazine, GoRiverwalk, Lifestyle Weston, Lifestyle Las Olas, Luxe Interiors & Design, REAL Real Estate and THINK. Longing to re-enter the health and wellness industry, she founded SCS WeightLoss Systems and also has a masters certification as a vegan health educator. Her latest accomplishment in her never ending quest for knowledge came in the form of getting her Florida Real Estate license.
Sarah loves (really LOVES) hosting gatherings from intimate family dinners to celebratory parties filled with hundreds. She also adores travel and finding hidden local hangouts only townspeople know about. SJ is married to Bart since 1984 and together they have two (well, actually three!) amazing adult “kids” - Mallory, Gregg and her daughter-in-law (aka Fare You Well Properties business partner) Mikaela. Needless to say, she is a busy woman, still Her most favorite role of all is being MiMi to the Grands.
Mikaela Barnes
Founder and Design Director
Mikaela made her way to South Florida from the LOVERS State of Virginia via Orlando where she met her now husband, Gregg. Together they enjoy traveling whenever possible while raising their family and are both involved in numerous aspects of real estate in the SUNSHINE state.
Her interests in bettering the community comes through her passion to collaborate with other local creatives to bring wellness and health centered events to the community. Mikaela brings this passion to the children's organizations she's involved with such as Animal Hero Kids and Little Lighthouse Foundation. Her touch is palpable in curated interactive events she's co-hosted, from yoga and wellness focused events featuring local artists, healers and makers to curated private dinners.
Mikaela founded and continues to be the recipe developer of The Non Dairy Fairy dessert company, which provides delicious, allergy friendly (yes, she holds a Raw Vegan Food Chef Certification) cookies, donuts, cupcakes and specialty cakes throughout South Florida. Her introduction into the hospitality industry came while working under the direction of renowned Celebrity Chef Michelle Bernstein as part of the team to open Seagrape, a luxury restaurant in the heart of Miami Beach. Her flair for presentation and supporting authentic experiences is just one of the many virtues she brings to the Fare You Well Properties brand. Psssst, you may even find a platter of her award winning cookies welcoming you at your Fare You Well home stay.
Mikaela was never one for the 9-5 grind, behind a desk, she has worked hard for her professional freedom and can often be found researching, designing and planning for Fare You Well Properties at local cafes with the coolest vibes that seem to nurture her creativity and mood.
Vincent Vigliotti
Real Estate Agent and Consultant
Vincent is not only a high performing Real Estate Agent in the coveted South Florida brokerage of Intracoastal Realty Group and a premier real property consultant, but a fortunate turn of events had him partner with Mikaela and Sarah on a Fare You Well Properties project. In some ways he is a silent partner, but in most ways he is welcomingly loud and proud! Vinny is always up to share his knowledge and expertise. With more than a decade of experience in South Florida Vinny has gained than more than an aptitude for negotiation and marketing, he posses a genuine understanding of what makes the community and the people who call it home so special.
Vinny started his career in Real Property at the ripe age of twenty-three. He had a job flipping homes and quickly realized the biggest challenge for his employer was finding real estate agents that truly wanted to work. Those that would put in the time to find the right deals and has the ability to find properties that would turn greater profits. So he thought, “I can do this!” and boy oh boy was he right. To date his most lucrative deal was actually the least expensive property he’s ever sold. It was a $74,000 condo, purchased as an investment. The buyer said, “Vince, if your numbers are right, you’ll have a long term customer.” So, Vin checked and checked and then re-checked his numbers. Sure enough, he got it right and has sold over fifty properties to that customer and maintained a long term partnership.
To say we are blessed, lucky or fortunate to have Vincent Vigliotti as our partner on some of Fare You Well Properties projects is an understatement. We were surprised (maybe even a little honored) to find out we are only the third client he’s gotten into the pool with. Why did he jump in with us? He says, “Because I know and TRUST Sarah. These ladies are both DECISIVE and Mikaela is CREATIVE as well as DETAIL ORIENTED. We all bring something to the table and time is money, and I know they both respect that aspect of the business. Most of all I love the honesty, bluntness and FUN we are having in what would otherwise be WORK.”
When we can not find Vinny, it’s usually easy to track him down cruising the waterways on his open wave vessel, catching fish or catching sun rays with a cocktail in hand.
